Mrs. Yoder’s Kitchen has been serving delicious home-style meals and desserts to locals and tourists alike for over 20 years. The restaurant features a breakfast buffet Wednesday and Saturday mornings, daily lunch buffet from 11am to 3pm, and a dinner buffet every Friday and Saturday evening.

The menu features both Amish-style favorites and non-Amish meals. Some of their specialties include Mrs. Yoder's fried chicken, old-fashioned fried mush, pork chops, roast beef, wedding steak, date nut pudding, and BBQ baby back ribs every Friday evening.
The restaurant’s namesake is Gloria Yoder, who grew up in Mt. Hope where she had the unique experience of being an “English” child in a school with a majority of Amish students. Today, she owns one of Amish Country’s most outstanding restaurants where Amish and English dine together side-by-side at the tables in her “kitchen.” The restaurant is also a favorite place for those attending the Mt Hope Auction to cool off or warm up, depending on the time of year.
Everyone is welcome at this popular Amish Country restaurant that invites guests to “come eat with the locals” when craving a delicious home-cooked meal. Once visitors experience the authentic taste of Ohio Amish Country at Mrs Yoder’s Kitchen, they are sure to return time and time again.
